Few Months After Surviving Ghastly Accident, Veteran Actress Joke Muyiwa Bags A Chieftaincy Title (PHOTOS)

Some months after Nollywood star, Joke Muyiwa and her son survived a ghastly motor accident, along Abeokuta – Ibadan expressway Ogun state, the veteran actress has become a chieftain in Ijebu land.

Yesterday November 3 2018, the Oba Council Of Ogun State has installed on Joke Muyiwa a great Chieftaincy title in AGO IWOYE, IJEBU LAND as The YEYE ASA OF AGO IWOYE, Ogun state.

The King of Ijebuland was also present at the event, where The KING, HRM Oba Ebumawe of Ago Iwoyeperformed all the traditional rites for her at The Ago Palace.

Several Nollywood celebrities were present at the event. Damola Olatunji, Bukola Ogunnote, Wale Ilebiyi among others graced the occasion. The whole event ground was filled with crowd from different states and countries.

Yeye Asa is similar to Iyalode title in any town in Yoruba Land.

Celebrities and colleagues in the entertainment industry have taken to their social media pages to congratulate veteran, Joke Muyiwa on her latest achievement.

Recall, Joke Muyiwa also won City People Movie Matriarch Recognition Award, 2018 as well as the 5th Best of Nollywood Awards for the lead role in a movie titled Ayitale.
